Ayuba Suleiman Diallo, also known as Job Ben Solomon, was a Fulani Muslim cleric from Bondu (in modern-day Sénégal) whose life history was published in 1734. He was captured, transported across the Atlantic, and sold into slavery in Maryland, before becoming free and eventually returning to his homeland.
